ACCRA, (CAJ News) – MEDINOUS, a global healthcare technology provider, has introduced its next-generation clinic management software in key African markets.
The organisation believes this is a milestone marking a strategic expansion in response to the continent’s growing demand for smart, scalable and affordable digital health infrastructure.
It has deployed the Medinous Fusion to clinics and medical centres in Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda.
Mathew Abraham, Vice President at Medinous, said Africa’s healthcare providers were scaling fast and looking for clinic systems that are modern, interoperable and easy to implement.
He was speaking at a rollout event in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.
“Our software is designed to support clinics of all sizes — from single-doctor practices to multi-specialty outpatient centres — with the flexibility, affordability, and local adaptability they need,” Abraham said.
The expansion to Sub-Saharan Africa follows successful implementations across the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Medinous Fusion is described as a fully integrated, modular CMS designed to streamline outpatient care across clinical, administrative, and financial workflows.
It covers functions including electromechanical resonance reporting (EMR), billing, pharmacy, appointments, lab, inventory and reporting.
Medinous reports that in its 25 years, it has long served as a trusted provider of hospital management solutions in Africa, supporting both public and private institutions in their digital transformation journeys.
The firm is based in the United States and also has a presence in India.
