CAPE TOWN, (CAJ News) – THE global platform for digital trade documentation and payments, ODeX, is targeting new markets in Africa as part of a global expansion in the second half of 2025.

The Indian-headquartered firm aims to expand to Cameroon, Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe during this period.

These are key target markets alongside plans to deepen penetration across key Asian and North American regions.

ODeX is buoyed by achievements attained during the first half of 2025, when it reports it navigated complex geopolitical landscapes but emerged stronger with resilient growth.

It launched operations in Canada, Uganda and Vietnam as well as expanded its footprint to more than 20 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America.

“Our dedicated strategic initiatives have positioned ODeX to maintain sustained growth and continuous value delivery to our clients worldwide,” stated Liji Nowal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ODeX.

“As we enter the second half of 2025, our priorities remain innovation, global expansion, and creating measurable value for our customers and partners.
This remarkable journey has only just begun,” Nowal added.

ODeX said it has continued to experience substantial user growth, now supporting over 70 000 global users and managing in excess of 1 million transactions monthly.

Binai Thoppil, the Chief Operations Officer, said the company was dedicated to operational excellence, standardized processes, incorporation of AI-driven customer support systems and comprehensive training programmes.

“We are deeply committed to continually elevating our operational standards and capabilities as we expand globally,” Binai noted.

Mumbai-based ODeX is involved in the digital transformation of export-import trade services, automating as well as documentation and payment processes for the ocean shipping industry.
