KIGALI, (CAJ News) – ALEPH Hospitality, the largest independent hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa, has signed a hotel management agreement with DND Developers for the Best Western Premier – Royal Golf View, Kigali, further strengthening Rwanda’s position as one of Africa’s most attractive tourism investment destinations.

Marking Aleph Hospitality’s third property in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, the Best Western Premier – Royal Golf View is scheduled to open in July 2027.

The upscale development will be located in the prestigious Kacyiru neighbourhood, adjacent to the Kigali Golf Club.

The property will feature 60 hotel rooms, 41 branded residences, two food and beverage outlets, a health club, and a swimming pool, catering to both international leisure travelers and high-end business guests.

Daniel Mehari, Managing Director of DND Developers, said the partnership reflects growing confidence in Rwanda’s hospitality sector.

“Aleph Hospitality’s deep understanding of the local market, combined with its regional operational expertise, gives us strong confidence in the long-term success of this landmark development,” he said.

Bani Haddad, Founder and Co-CEO of Aleph Hospitality, highlighted Rwanda’s strong tourism fundamentals.

“With visitor arrivals forecast to reach 1.65 million and tourism’s economic contribution expected to grow by 13 percent, demand for premium accommodation in Kigali continues to rise. This property will be a standout addition to the city’s hospitality landscape,” he said.

Beyond the project itself, Rwanda continues to outperform many East African peers in attracting tourism and hospitality investors.

Investors cite Rwanda’s political stability, low corruption levels, efficient governance, and pro-business regulatory environment as key advantages.

The country’s clear long-term tourism strategy, anchored in high-value, low-impact tourism, has created predictable returns and reduced investment risk—factors that are often less consistent in other regional markets.

To the outside world, Rwanda is viewed as safe, clean, and well-organized, with Kigali frequently ranked among Africa’s most liveable and secure cities.

The country has earned global recognition for its conservation success, premium gorilla tourism, international events, and growing meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector. As a result, Rwanda is consistently rated among Africa’s top emerging tourism destinations.

Stefan Dubbeling, Managing Director Development EMEA and Managing Director Managed Hotels Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at BWH Hotels, said, “Rwanda is one of Africa’s most promising hospitality markets, and Kigali continues to attract growing international demand. This project strengthens our premium presence in the region.”

Aleph Hospitality’s portfolio currently includes 80 hotels across Africa and the Middle East, with 50 in operation and 30 under development, underscoring its continued commitment to supporting hotel development across the continent.
