CAIRO, (CAJ News) — CYBERSECURITY firm Exabeam has doubled the size of its Egypt-based support engineering team as it ramps up investment in local talent to meet rising demand for advanced security solutions across the region.
The expansion, announced in Cairo, reflects growing pressure on governments and enterprises to strengthen digital defences as cyber threats become more sophisticated and frequent across critical infrastructure and public sector systems.
Since establishing its customer support centre in Egypt in 2022, Exabeam has increased its support engineering workforce by 100%, underscoring what the company describes as long-term commitment to developing in-country expertise and enhancing customer responsiveness.
The move comes as Egypt accelerates its Digital Egypt strategy, aimed at modernising public services and expanding secure digital infrastructure across key sectors of the economy.
The company said the strengthened support hub will improve service delivery for regional customers while also deepening its operational footprint across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region.
Exabeam specialises in behaviour intelligence and security analytics, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect anomalies in user and system activity.
The technology is increasingly being adopted by organisations seeking to improve threat detection and response capabilities in complex digital environments.
Senior Vice-President and General Manager for IMETA Mazen Adnan Dohaji said the expansion reflects both the maturity of Egypt’s cybersecurity sector and rising demand for specialist technical support.
He said the company had focused on building highly skilled local teams capable of delivering customer support with technical depth and operational ownership.
Exabeam is also participating as a Gold Sponsor at the Cyber & Information Security Exhibition and Conference (CAISEC) Egypt 2026, where it will showcase how artificial intelligence, behavioural analytics and autonomous security agents can help organisations identify and respond to cyber threats more effectively.
Regional Sales Manager for Egypt Muhammad Eissa said the company’s presence at the event demonstrates its long-term commitment to Egypt’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
He added that Egypt is increasingly positioning itself as a regional technology and security hub, supported by growing investment in digital resilience and skills development.
During the conference, Exabeam will take part in panel discussions and roundtables focused on the role of AI and automation in strengthening cyber resilience and improving threat detection across complex IT environments.
The company said its continued investment in Egypt aligns with broader growth across the region, with Exabeam reporting more than 20% expansion between 2024 and 2025.
Industry observers say the expansion highlights a wider trend among global cybersecurity firms establishing regional support centres in Africa and the Middle East to address skills shortages and improve response times for clients facing escalating cyber risks.
