JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE United States President Donald Trump distanced himself from the missile attack on Qatar, saying it was not his plan.
He is very unhappy. It (the attack in Qatar) will never happen again. The Western World seemed to go along with this statement that ‘It will not happen again”.
Apparently, that would appease Qatar and calm Arab World emotions. Meanwhile, leaders of Gulf State Countries are visiting Qatar as a show of support.
Will they accept Donald Trump denying its sword? It is highly unlikely because the Israeli military arsenal and funding is 70% American.
The first outbursts were from Benjamin Netanyahu himself who declared that the assassination attempt on Hamas leadership was an Israeli decision, using precision weapons, Shin Bet and other intelligence, and he took full responsibility.
Israeli precision weapons use American geo-position satellites, and the two countries share intelligence.
If it were not his responsibility, whose would it be? Netanyahuwas pre-emptying a predetermined press approach to exclude the Americans, so that Trump would follow with an “I didn’t know” posture and that he was very unhappy but was in tune with targeting Hamas leadership.
If you splice these statements, the USA was aware ahead of the assassination attack.
The US might not have been aware where the attack was going to be, but Donald Trump knew and gave green light.
There is no way he could promise Qatar that it would not happen again if he had no control of it.
How can he promise something he had not authorized? If Israel decides to attack another country or Qatar again, without his knowledge, his promise would be empty.
Donld Trump can only make the promise if he had control over Israeli actions.
Further, Israeli war jets would not have taken off into an airspace controlled by the USA without Trump clearance.
The risk for Israeli warplanes was a counter interception by American bases.
The decision not to intercept Israeli attack aircraft is not made by commanders, but the highest politicians.
The USA was involved. What they planned was to strike, wipe out Palestinian leadership, and then the US disowns the operation and assures Qatar that it will not happen again. Only a fool can accept this.
From a regional perspective the Western World wantsIsrael to militarily dominate the region. Qatar had been under pressure with other Arab nations for its close friendship with the USA.
This attack was profoundly an unfortunate act of aggression. The Gulf Cooperation Council, as they are meeting, regard this attack as a watershed moment for Arab relations with the USA and among themselves.
The USA took out Iran, declaring that Iran should not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.
But this was to allow Israel to dominate the region and to attack unexpectedly and at will. This is not democracy but crude politics and arrogance. The American politicians are swimming in oceans of uncontrolled power.
But this attackmarks the end of American dominance. That triggers new geopolitics because American thinking is power drunk and selfish.
The meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a group which started in 2001,was attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
These countries represent the largest populations and land size in the world. The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit premises its standing as RESPECT for each other, which the USA fails to do.
The corky USA is now isolated with its 1945 World War II order.
Michael From an, President of Council of Foreign Relations,called these world gatherings a ‘confab of leading autocrats and those they seek to draw close to them’.
I would like to debate with Mr From and who writes, “Much like the BRICS, its convenings often strike me as grand salons for the axis of the aggrieved to make symbolic progress towards undermining various pillars of what has been the U.S-led international system.’
Countries which attended the 2025 Heads of State Council meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Tianjin, China from 31 August to 1 September 2025 were the host China, then Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Egypt, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal, Turkey, Indonesia,Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos, a new member.
Coupled with BRCS, the US has no significant respected friendship members outside Israel, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Spain and would struggle to identify a friend beyond its southern border with Mexico.
With all their intelligence, the US leadership and Israel cannot isolate Hamas fighters from ordinary Palestinians, and choses to slaughter them all, strike a hotel in a friendly country, and assassinate Hamas leaders.
US frigates and aircraft carriers are at sea,to silence a small group called Hamas for two years, but unable to free the hostages.
Raw power alone is not the solution.The world is changing.The baton changes. Does Mr Froman know that the bushmen once led the world?
