JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – MTN South Africa has moved onto the next-gen version of the MTN App.
It rolled the app out in 2019 and refreshed it in 2022.
The latest app offers rich, simplified, and personalised experiences with security by design at the top of mind to combat fraud, officials said.
“This launch unlocks new digital possibilities with an App that is marter, faster and built to adapt to ever-evolving customer needs. With a strong focus on innovation and rapid advancement, this is another game-changer for the industry by MTN,” said Tania Ladopoulou, General Manager: Online and Telesales at MTN South Africa.
App-only deals can lead to savings of up to 70 percent.
Ladopoulou said the MTN App is a centralised digital gateway unlocking enhanced functionalities, with a fresh and modern look ensuring fast access and ease of use.
“Customers can now enjoy value-for-money offers like App-Only recharge offers, and the ability to self-serve from a favourite couch are among the many innovations available in one tailored interface.”
The new DataShare function facilitates effortless data sharing.
The App also features a dark mode, minimising eye strain and enhancing power conservation.
A successful limited release to beta-test the new MTN App began in February of this year.
