ADDIS ABABA, (CAJ News) – AFRICA’S largest airways – Ethiopian Airlines has launched a new passenger service to Hanoi, Vietnam.
The air carrier is set to fly four times weekly, starting from Wednesday (today).
This new route will further enhance Ethiopian Airlines’ global connectivity and provide convenient travel options for passengers traveling between Africa and Southeast Asia.
Ethiopian Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer, Mesfin Tasew, stated, “We are pleased to expand our presence in Southeast Asia and enhance air connectivity for our customers in the region.”
“This new route will create opportunities for stronger ties and collaborations between Vietnam and our extensive global network. We look forward to bringing our renowned service to Vietnam and further growing our presence in this dynamic market,” Tasew said.
Additionally, the expansion boosts trade and investment opportunities between Vietnam and African nations, while offering passengers more efficient one-stop connections.
This move further solidifies Ethiopian Airlines’ global footprint and market competitiveness, making it a key player in the Asia-Africa aviation corridor.
