How to set up free to air channels on a DStv Explora Decoder. DStv Explora is a digital satellite tv decoder with DVB-S complaint. DStv Explorer decoder capable of opening pay tv channels which is primary purpose. Using DStv decoder to watch any free to air (FTA) Channels is secondary purpose. Here is how you can set up free to air channels on a DStv Explora Decoder.
- On your A7 remote Blue DStv button to access DStv Central.
- Using the left and right navigational buttons, go to Settings.
- Use the up and down navigational buttons to find Satellite Settings.
- Navigate to Additional Networks and press OK. On the Additional Networks, there are Networks numbered from 1–5. Do not touch anything on Network 1. You will only start making changes from Network 2 down to Network 5.
- For IS20 Satellite, Apply the following on NETWORK 2:

Change from “My DStv Channels” to “All Channels.”
At this point your set-up is complete. You can now go ahead and select any channel you want to watch.
