KIGALI, (CAJ News) – AFRICA’S tax leaders are to celebrate a decade of insight and innovation when they converge in Rwanda next month.

They are to meet in the capital, Kigali, under the aegis of the Africa Tax Symposium (ATS).

The event returns on May 28-30 under the theme, “Trends in International Taxation: An African Perspective.”

“Over the past decade, we’ve seen the Symposium evolve into a trusted platform for critical dialogue, collaboration, and capacity building.

ATS 2025 is not only a celebration of our journey so far, but a launchpad for the next chapter in shaping Africa’s tax future with authority, expertise, and shared purpose.”

This is according to Belema Obuoforibo, Director of the IBFD Knowledge Centre and Chair of CSAT.

IBDF is short for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation and CSAT is for the Centre for Studies in African tax.

The “Navigating Selected Issues in International Taxation and Transfer Pricing” Masterclass will precede the ATS.

“Reaching the tenth edition of the Africa Tax Symposium is a remarkable milestone – not just for IBFD and CSAT, but for the tax community in Africa,” Obuoforibo said.
