NAIROBI, (CAJ News) — ALEPH Hospitality has appointed hospitality industry veteran Rob Kucera as Regional Vice President for East and Southern Africa as the independent hotel management company accelerates its expansion across the continent.
Based in Nairobi, Kucera will oversee more than 25 hotels spanning six brands, 20 destinations and nine countries. He will also lead the development of new properties while driving financial, commercial and operational performance.
His responsibilities include strengthening relationships with hotel owners, developing regional talent and high-performing teams, and supporting investment in communities surrounding the group’s properties.
Kucera brings more than 20 years of hospitality management experience. He previously served as Complex General Manager and District Director for East Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, overseeing properties in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
He also held senior roles in Istanbul, Kampala and Cape Town, and served as Chief Operating Officer of South Africa’s Hospitality Property Fund.
Aleph founder and Co-CEO Bani Haddad described the appointment as strategic to the company’s regional growth.
