JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – VODACOM Business has launched a managed Huawei Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution aimed at helping South African businesses modernise their connectivity while reducing costs and improving network performance.
The carrier-grade solution is designed to support organisations of all sizes, from small, micro and medium enterprises (SMMEs) to public sector institutions and large corporates, by providing a more flexible and secure approach to managing enterprise networks.
The launch comes as businesses increasingly seek reliable, cloud-ready connectivity to support digital transformation, hybrid working models and expanding branch networks.
Unlike traditional Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) infrastructure, which can be costly and time-consuming to deploy, the SD-WAN solution uses readily available internet connectivity, including business fibre, allowing organisations to connect new sites more quickly and cost-effectively.
