HARARE, (CAJ News) – ZIMBABWE’S men’s 4×400 metres relay team produced a commanding performance to claim the gold medal after outracing regional rivals Kenya and Morocco in a thrilling final.

The Zimbabwean quartet displayed speed, composure and tactical brilliance to cross the finish line ahead of Kenya, who settled for silver, while Morocco completed the podium in third place with bronze.

Roared on by an enthusiastic crowd, Zimbabwe took control of the race during the second leg before extending the lead in the closing stages to seal a memorable victory.
