LAGOS, (CAJ News) – TRAVELPORT, a global travel technology provider, on Friday (today) announced a new multi-year content agreement with Air Peace Limited, Nigeria’s and West Africa’s largest airline.
Under the agreement, Air Peace will expand the distribution of its full range of fares and ancillaries across Central and West Africa and key international markets, while leveraging Travelport’s advanced retailing, rich content, and merchandising capabilities through Travelport+.
Travelport+ is Travelport’s next-generation marketplace, designed to simplify how travel agencies search, compare, and book travel content from multiple sources in one place.
The partnership reflects increasing demand among airlines in emerging markets for modern distribution technologies that extend global reach, enhance visibility with travel agencies, and enable airlines to present their products with greater clarity, branding, and transparency.
Air Peace operates an extensive network of passenger and charter services across Nigeria and West Africa, alongside international routes to the Middle East, the Caribbean, and the United Kingdom.
Through this expanded collaboration, Air Peace’s content will be accessible to hundreds of thousands of travel agencies worldwide connected to Travelport+.
“We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Air Peace,” said Damian Hickey, GVP and Global Head of Travel Partners at Travelport. “Air Peace plays a vital role in West and Central Africa. This agreement deepens our content offering in these markets and enables the airline to reach more agencies globally with rich, branded content.”
Nowel Ngala, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Peace Limited, added: “This agreement supports our international growth strategy. Travelport’s global reach and modern technology will help us grow sales and enhance the agency experience.”
It reinforces both companies’ commitment to innovation, connectivity, and market growth.
