CAPE TOWN, (CAJ News) – SOME 111 individuals have graduated from the BlueSky Academy eight years since its formal launch.

BlueSky is South Africa’s leading independent artificial intelligence, Cloud and digital consultancy.

The academy is gearing up for a bigger 2026 intake.

“This is not a stepping-stone programme. It’s an opportunity for ambitious early-career superstars to gain meaningful work experience, acquire globally recognised certifications and make a measurable impact on real client projects from the start,” said Matt Surkont, BlueSky Chief Executive Officer.

Operating from offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, BlueSky partners with organisations across industries to harness the power of AI, Cloud and digital.

The company said as businesses embrace new models and disruptive technologies, the academy ensures that South Africa’s young professionals are equally equipped to adapt and lead.

Surkont said the pace of digital transformation demands both business and individuals to continuously evolve.

“The academy is our commitment to developing talent that can confidently drive this change – while securing their own futures,” Surkont added.

According to the firm, the academy was created to close the digital skills gap and equip the next generation of business analysts, developers and systems architects with the expertise needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
