JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – ORLANDO Pirates and TS Galaxy are climbing steadily up the Betway Premiership standings, while Sekhukhune United and Kaizer Chiefs continue to set the pace at the summit.

The weekend’s action saw league leaders Sekhukhune United consolidate their position with a convincing 2-0 victory over Durban City.

Close on their heels, Kaizer Chiefs secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, keeping pressure on the frontrunners.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, currently third on the table, maintained momentum with a narrow 1-0 triumph over Stellenbosch FC, who remain rooted in the lower half of the standings.

Meanwhile, Magesi FC, fighting to escape the relegation zone, produced a spirited display to hold AmaZulu FC to a 1-1 draw, earning a valuable point.

One of the weekend’s standout performances came from TS Galaxy, who overpowered struggling Orbit College FC with a 3-1 win to climb into fourth place.

Similarly, Orlando Pirates showcased attacking dominance, dismantling Chippa United 3-0, a result that reignites their challenge for a top-four finish.

Elsewhere, Marumo Gallants and Polokwane City shared the spoils in a tightly contested 1-1 draw, with neither side able to edge ahead in their mid-table battle.
