- Your Airtel mobile number.
- A valid Kenyan ID (original or certified copy) or another acceptable document as per Airtel’s requirements (List of acceptable documents can be found on Airtel’s website).

Steps to Self-Register Online:
- Visit the Airtel Self-Registration Portal: Access the official Airtel self-registration portal (https://www.airtelkenya.com/lp/kyc/).
- Enter Your Mobile Number: On the welcome page, enter your Airtel mobile number in the designated field.
- Verify with OTP: Click “validate and get OTP.” You’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your Airtel phone. Enter the OTP in the provided field and click “verify.”
- Complete Registration Details: A new page will appear for you to enter your registration details and upload document copies. This includes your ID type and ID number. You’ll also need to upload clear images of the front and back of your valid ID.
- Submit Your Registration: Once you’ve filled in all the information and uploaded the required documents, click “submit.”
Checking Registration Status (Alternative Method):
If you’re unsure about your registration status, you can use the USSD code method:
- Open your phone’s dialer and enter *106#.
- Select the first option and press “send.”
- You’ll receive an SMS with your Airtel SIM card registration details.
