JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) MTN South Africa, through its foundation, is donating thousands of school shoes to schools in the Eastern Cape Province.

The donation forms part of MTN SA Foundation’s Back to School campaign.

MTN will hand-over 800 pairs of school shoes to Emsengeni Primary School, the primary school that national rugby team captain, Siya Kolisi, attended in Port Elizabeth.

An additional 1 000 pairs of school shoes will be donated to Jim Mvabaza Senior Secondary School in East London. Winger Makazole Mapimpi attended the school.

In addition, MTN will donate new school shoes to a number of other schools along the route that the Springbok’s Trophy Tour will travel this week.
