Cult members nabbed after fight over woman

ABUJA, (CAJ News) - NIGERIA police have arrested several suspects after
two rival cult groups clashed over a young woman.
The suspects arrested at Kaduru village within the Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) have been named as Hassan Ayo (aged 28 years),
Abdulhameedu Ali (21), Eze Chibuike (23), Moses Dominic (20), Ridwan
Olaitan (22), Abdulganiyu Sodiqu (24) and Franklin Chiderah Ugorji (23).
A locally-made revolver pistol and one live ammunition allegedly belonging
to Olaitan, was reportedly recovered at the scene.
Anjuguri Manzah, Police Public Relations Officer for FCT Police Command,
said the men had been transferred to the Command Criminal Investigation
and Intelligence Department for investigation and possible prosecution.
He noted the involvement of youths in cult activities constituted a
serious security threat to society. – CAJ News
