Accra, Cairo to host global IT security events

ACCRA, (CAJ News) – STAKEHOLDERS and information technology assurance, governance and cyber-security professionals will meet in Egypt and Ghana this year to discuss trends in the sectors.
ISACA, a global association previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, is organising the events.
The African sessions will be held in Accra and Nairobi, the Ghanaian and Egyptian cities respectively.
In July, The Best of Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX) will be held in Cairo. This new, one-day event will feature sessions for viewing and live discussions on the latest cyber-security threats, challenges and opportunities, tailored to all levels of cybersecurity expertise. The event will be presented in a facilitated, collaborative World Café discussion format.
Accra will in September host the Africa Computer Audit, Control and Security (CACS).
The CACS Conference will offer the latest in information systems audit, control and security. Knowledge, tools and strategies will be shared at all levels of expertise, and tracks will include sessions on governance and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT ).
CACS will take place in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Latin America this year.
