LAGOS, (CAJ News) – MEGALECTRICS, Nigeria’s foremost radio platform, today announced it had secured an exclusive rights deal to broadcast English Premier League matches.

As a new broadcast partner of talkSPORT in Nigeria, the radio platform will broadcast at least five games each week, continuing the country’s love affair with the Premier League.

Managing Director, Megalectrics, Chris Ubosi, said the partnership further positioned Megalectrics’ global outlook.

“We’re excited that we can fulfil every Nigerian football lover’s dream as our newly launched Radio station, Lagos Talks partners talkSPORT,” said Ubosi.

Megalectrics will broadcast official live commentaries from all 380 matches.

Jimmy Buckland, Director of Strategy for talkSPORT, said their international offering continued to grow rapidly and the relationship with the Premier League had already been successfully extended to 2019.

“So, we look forward to increasing our global footprint and reaching many more passionate football fans across the forthcoming seasons,” Buckland added.

Megalectrics owns Beat, Classic, Naija FM and Lagos Talks 91.3FM.
