South Africa’s PowerBall Jackpot skyrockets to a whopping US$4 million this Friday

powerballJOHANNESBURG – THE South African PowerBall Jackpot is shooting through the roof as it now stands at an estimated R70-million (about US$4,8 million) after Tuesday night’s draw, which is likely to attract a high number of people including non- regular lottery players across this southern African country.
If one a player matches five correct numbers and the PowerBall at Friday’s draw, 15 July, they would certainly become Ithuba’s highest lottery jackpot winner.
This is after the PowerBall jackpot which stood at R65-million ($4,5million) eluded everyone for the 17th time on Tuesday to balloon to its highest since 2012.
PowerBall and PowerBall Plus have together created 22 millionaires, since June last year when Ithuba took over as the third national lottery operator.
With stakes this high, everyone including non-regular lottery players across South Africa are expected to try their luck on the jackpot.
Powerball and Powerball Plus draws get broadcast live on South African’s main TV stations .
