Jehovah God’s envoys’ true mission on earth
True Gospel with SAVIOUS-PARKER KWINIKA
OUR mission as ambassadors of Jehovah God on earth is to worship and glorify Him as well as live in harmony.
Following our creation, we were then given authority and dominion over unclean spirits. His Son, Jesus Christ had the power to heal the sick, cast away demons and raise the dead, the power he also gave to us who believe in him.
Luke 10:19 says: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you,” while the English Standard Version states: “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
Apart from the authority, we have also been created to worship Jehovah God as our king.
Nehemiah 9:6 concurs my teaching: “You alone are the LORD. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you.”
This is why it is so important that as true ambassadors of Jehovah God, we should spread the word among people that God made each one of them for a purpose.
People, whether Christians or non-believers need to know God’s purpose in their lives or else their spirits perish.
There is nothing special that can compensate the knowledge of Jehovah God as the world lives in peace with nature and other creations. The wisdom in knowing Jehovah God beats the accumulation of wealth, power, fame or pleasure.
As an ambassador for Jesus Christ on earth, more-so, although I am a journalist for that matter, I have come to realise that it is trivial and pointless to live an empty life without Jehovah God, our Creator.
I have come to the conclusion that life without Jesus Christ, the Son of Jehovah God is meaningless.
While I’m unpacking why Jehovah God created us, I urge you, the reader never to submit your trust to human beings.
While we should respect human life, we should be careful not to trusting anybody right now, whether that person is your wife, husband, church leaders and pastors because among us, there is no one who is perfect except Jehovah God. After all, we all live for a short period of time then we die.
Therefore our allegiance as human beings should purely be placed upon our Creator, who is Jehovah God, the author and finisher of our lives.
Before I unpack the reasons why we were created, let me remind that our mission begins here on earth and is accomplished in the Second Coming when a new paradise is established on earth.
But before the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us all know that we have been given authority over unclean spirits, power to heal the sick, drive away demons as we seek to live in peace on earth.
Demons, through their father Satan, are the ones causing politicians to loot resources without a care for the poor.
Lately, monetary issues tend to dominate, sermons by church leaders. One would be forgiven to believe worshippers were created to give them gifts, money and other resources to line their pockets.
I’m unpacking this so that you know your true purpose on earth. Thus, so that when you eventually die at the end of time, you shall be able to meet your creator as a winner.
This is done through knowing our purpose through embracing Jehovah God’s purpose for our creation.
According to Isaiah 43:7: “Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them,” while the English Standard Version states: “everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
This is further backed in the book of Genesis 1:26 – And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
This is one of the reasons why we were created.
Backing up, Revelation 4:11 reads: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
The New Living Translation reads: “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you please.”
The English Standard Version reads: “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Our purpose here was planned for God’s pleasure and God’s pleasure means LOVE.
Jehovah God wants you and I to know Him in full as well as love Him. Everything else is secondary.
Worshipping Jehovah God is worthy more than playing music or having wealth. Secondly, worshipping Jehovah God brings pleasure to our Creator because he wants us to love Him and promote fellowship with other believers across the world.
Thirdly, we were created to be like Christ.
Fourthly, we were made for a special service towards fulfilling God’s mission.
Acts 20:24 is concise: “The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus Christ gave me.”
The mission here is to tell people the good news about Jehovah God’s grace, mercy, love, forgiveness and most importantly, become righteous.
What I’m sharing here is supported in the book of Titus 2:14 – “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
Further in the book of creation, Genesis 1:28 reads: “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
To wrap up on why we were created, one of the greatest apostles of all time, Paul of Tarsus says on Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Another important reading is Ecclesiastes 12:13 states, ‘Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.”
The book of 1 Samuel 12:24 states: “Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you.”
