Tinkler assumes reins at new Cape Town side
CAPE TOWN, (CAJ News) – THE yet-to-be-named Cape Town Premiership side has announced Eric Tinkler as head coach.
He joins from Orlando pirates where he coached on a caretaker basis.
John Comitis, who recently bought the Premiership status of Mpumalanga Black aces, confirmed the appointment.
“We have committed ourselves to a three-year contract and we are positive that his experience coupled with his knowledge will assist us to build this Club from the ground up,” said Comitis in a statement.
“It is seldom that you find a South African Head Coach that has played at the highest level of Football in the EPL and in the Serie A League. But to add to that the has the highest level of qualification – UEFA Pro License.”
