Key SAP global summit resumes in US

FLORIDA, (CAJ News) – PARTNERS of Systems Applications Products (SAP) from around the globe have gathered in Orlando, Florida in the United States for the annual Americas’ SAP Users Group (ASUG).

The event resumes on Tuesday.

The conference, dubbed 2016 SAPPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference, is a global annual summit bringing together business and IT executives from around the globe to explore and learn about new SAP products as well as hear more about the company’s roadmap .

Hailed as the biggest annual technology event, it will explore strategy, networking, and education on SAP applications.

SAP Chief Executive, Bill McDermott, will be the keynote speaker while ASUG CEO, Geoff Scott, is another notable executive.

SAP Africa Managing Director, Brett Parker, will also feature.

Prof. Hasso Plattner, Chairman of the SAP Supervisory Board, will officially close the weeklong summit.

Among other technology firms at the summit include Accenture, Cisco, Dell, Deloitte, IBM, Fujitsu, Facebook, Google, Hitachi, Hewlett Packard, Huawei, Lenovo, Microsoft, Oracle, T-Systems and Vistex.

There is also huge presence of SAP executives, customers, developers, product and development managers, implementation consultants, partners, and SAP Mentors drawn from across the world.

“This is the biggest ever technology conference for the year 2016,” a South American executive told CAJ News Africa ahead of the event.

The global technology conference comes a month the Germany headquartered software giant unleashed HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC), the flexible, secure, and scalable enterprise-class private cloud, managed by SAP.
