TRUE Gospel with SAVIOUS-PARKER KWINIKA: We must rid church of hypocrisy

WITH Jesus, it is over! This is reference to past sins committed before anyone becomes a born-again Christian.

Many born-again Christians however fall by the wayside because the Devil is always targeting Christians or newly-transformed believers in order to embarrass them.

But Jesus always assures us that when we confess our sins by our own mouths, he will wipe them away. That means he will forgive us.

According to the Book of 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

The same verse in the New Living Translation reads: “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.”

The English Standard Version states: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

But surprisingly, the sin that Jehovah God has forgiven long back, is often a subject of gossip and discussion among some fellow church members who always raise it up.

They point at the repentant worshipper as a sinner, sometimes remind them about their past wrongdoings. Yet, the Author and Finisher of our lives, who is Jehovah God, has completely forgiven the reformed Christian.

The name of the repentant sinner is already written in the book of life.

However, an exciting story is that Jesus, the Son of the true living Jehovah God, challenges some religious leaders, whose majority happen to be church elders, pastors, bishops and founders.

The Prince of Peace, who is Jesus Himself, asks an interesting question.

In the book of John 8:7, Jesus challenges religious leaders: “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

The same verse in the New Living Translation reads: “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone,” while the English Standard Version says, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Jesus was responding to the teachers of the law and the Pharisees who brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group while threatening to stone her to death for committing adultery.

It is quite concerning that most people who persecute others today are from the church. These are mainly elders, pastors, bishops and church founders themselves, who forget that Jesus died for sinners.

The book of Romans 4:25 confirms my argument. It reads: “He (Jesus) was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

The same verse in the New Living Translation reads: “He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.”

The English Standard Version sates: “Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.”

After dying for our sins on the cross, Jesus teaches us not to sin no more. He is against sinning intentionally when forgiven or purified.

In the book of John 8:11, Jesus says: “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared, adding. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

The same verse in the New Living Translation reads: “Go and sin no more.” The English Standard Version reads: “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”

Those that intended to kill the woman caught committing adultery yet forgiven by Jesus all dispersed in shame. They were baying for another person’s blood yet themselves are sinners.

Some officials holding prominent positions in churches entertain prostitutes, do wicked things but every Sunday they stand before the church teaching the congregants not to sin yet they are the ring sinners.

Such leaders are subject of complaints from their spouses. They cheat on their spouses like possessed persons.

This must come to an end now!

For the church of God to flourish, let us stop sinning. Whatever suggests or looks like a sin, must be stopped completely in order to please the Almighty Jehovah God, not human being. The only accuser I know of is the devil, Lucifer himself.

Jehovah God loves all His people, including sinners but he forgives and urges us to sin no more.

Those who believe this True Gospel, say Amen.
