Police and industry partner to curb crime

ABUJA, (CAJ News) – THE Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria (MAN) has pledged to partner police in the fight against crime.

MAN President, Dr Frank Jacob, expressed the organisation’s support during a just-concluded meeting with Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, in Abuja.

Jacob led a delegation from the association to the meeting.

The group also used the medium to donate some consumable items and reflective jackets for the use of operatives of Safer Highways.

Officials further looked forward to a harmonious working relationship with the police force.

The NAM national executive praised the Inspector-General Arase-led management team for removing road-blocks across the country and replacing them with highway patrols.

Jacob praised police for the selfless service they render daily to ensure the safety and well-being of Nigerians.

ARARSE, In his response, thanked the management of MAN for their care and support.

“It is the first time a body like this has really come to appreciate the efforts of the Force,” he said.

He assured the President of MAN that, Police/MAN Consultative Forum will be established to foster the sustainability of the relationship.

He reiterated the position of the force on accountability and transparency.

“Police will not tolerate any act of indiscipline or unprofessional conduct,” he said.
