LAGOS, (CAJ News) – FRANCE has condemned the ceaseless use of children in carrying out suicide bomb attacks in Nigeria.

France, which has suffered terror attacks in recent days, cited the use of minors in the suicide bombings that rocked Kano on Wednesday.

The attack left 15 dead and over 50 injured.

“We condemn the recruitment of children to perpetrate these attacks. France extends its condolences to the victims’ families and the Nigerian authorities,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, said in a statement on Thursday.

The Ministry expressed solidarity with Nigeria and neighbouring countries in eliminating the Boko Haram terror that has claimed the lives of more than 17 000 people and displaced over 2 million in recent years.
