JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE risk of load shedding on Thursday is currently low as the power system is stable at present.

Eskom, the power utility, said it had met the country’s electricity demand while operating and maintaining its generation fleet in a sustainable manner for the past 88 days.

There were nonetheless 2 hours and 20 minutes of load shedding.

The power company meanwhile appealed to customers to continue to reduce their electricity usage throughout the day.
