Army probes woman for Boko Harm links

ABUJA, (CAJ News) – THE Nigerian Army said it had cleared five terrorists camps at Hausari and Baranga in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.

It has detonated two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by terrorists fleeing from Lagaran Fulani to Sambisa forest.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director of Army Public Relations, confirmed the breakthrough.

Her said this was part of efforts to continually dominate recovered territories and clear all Nigerian territory of Boko Haram vestiges.
He said the troops during and encounter with Boko Haram terrorists at the camps killed two terrorists and recovered two Dane guns as well as a double barrel gun.

Some 12 motorcycles abandoned by some fleeing terrorists were destroyed.

Usman added that a female suspected female of the terrorists group was captured and currently undergoing interrogation.

Usman said the troops remained committed to clearing and securing all known Boko Haram terrorists’ camps and enclaves.
