Nigeria ministerial list finally out

ABUJA, (CAJ News) – NIGERIA ‘s Upper house chamber ( Senate ) on Tuesday unveiled the list of ministerial nominees President Muhammadu Buhari recently forward to the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

This ends months of speculation regarding the naming of a new cabinet by Buhari, who was sworn-in some three months ago.

The list Senate President Bukola Saraki read out has former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi ,former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola.

They are part of 21 officials Buhari has recommended.

Saraki said the screening of the nominees will begin next Tuesday.

This will give senators enough time to go through the nominee’s profiles.

The partial list of ministerial nominees has the following names:

2. Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti)
3. Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers)
4. Babatunde Fashola (Lagos)
5. Abdurrahman Dambazau (Kano)
6. Aisha AlHassan (Taraba)

8. Kemi Adeosun (Ogun)
9. Abubakar Malami (Kebbi)
10. Senator Sirika Hadi(Katsina)
11. Barrister Adebayo Shittu (Oyo)
12. Sulaiman Adamu (Jigawa)
13. Solomon Dalong (Plateau)
14.Ibe Kachikwu (Delta)
15. Osagie Ehanire (Edo
16.Lai Mohammed ( Kwara)
