Nigeria Agency secures aid for flood victicms

ABUJA, (CAJ News) –  THE National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has donated relief material to rain and wind storm victims in Kaduna State , Northwest Nigeria.

The inclement weather has wrecked havoc in Albarkawa.

NEMA North West Zonal Coordinator, Alhaji Musa Ilallah, in a symbolic presentation, handed over the relief material to authorities of the area.

The relief items donated comprises of foodstuff, building materials and other household essential needs to ameliorate the plight of the victims.

Representative of the local authorities from the emirate council commended the agency’s prompt gesture of the agency and assured the relief material would be given immediately to the intended beneficiaries.

The agency’s staff also conducted an assessment of other flood affected areas in the ancient town.
