Telkom Knockout prize money confirmed


JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE Premier Soccer League and sponsors have maintained the prize money of the Telkom Knockout tournament at R14, 2 million.

The winners will pocket R4 million while the losing finalist will bank R1,5 million.

The two sides and the other 14 other Premier Division teams will each receive a participation fee of R250 000.

The two losing semi-finalists will each pocket R750 000.

Quarterfinalists will each receive 400 000 each while the teams knocked out in the Last 16 will pocket R200 000.

Ticket prices for this year’s edition of the Telkom Knockout last round of 16 will remain unchanged.

The tickets are now on sale at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide.

Tickets for the eight fixtures will sell at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12. Tickets for this stage of the competition have been selling at this price for the last three tournaments.
The tournament resumes on Wednesday.
