Telkom Knockout venues, dates announced


JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE Premier Soccer League (PSL) Organising Committee has confirmed dates and venues for the 2015/16 Telkom Knockout first round fixtures.

Defending champions, SuperSport United will kick-off the campaign at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane away Polokwane City on Wednesday next week.

Kick-off is 19h30.

On Friday, Jomo Cosmos, back in top flight football, will visit Harry Gwala Stadium to play against Maritzburg United at 20h00.

On Saturday, at 15h00, Free State Stars hosts Bidvest Wits at Goble Park while Golden Arrows will play Ajax Cape Town at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi. At 20h15, Mamelodi Sundowns host Chippa United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

On Sunday Platinum Stars will be at home to Kaizer Chiefs while Bloemfontein Celtic will play Mpumalanga Black Aces at Free State Stadium. Both matches kick-off at 15h00.

The Organising Committee said that the date and kick-off time of the fixture between Orlando Pirates and University of Pretoria will be confirmed in due course. Orlando Pirates will play in the CAF Confederations Cup semi-finals next weekend.

Tickets will sell at R40 for adults and R10 for children at Computicket and Shoprite stores.
