MTN Rwanda rewards milestone client

KIGALI, (CAJ News) – MTN Rwanda has rewarded its 4 millionth subscriber to the tune of RwF4 million (about US$5,5).

The customer, Uwimbabazi Francine of Gicumbi District, Ruvuna Sector with stock to start a business as an MTN vendor.

Francine has received a fully branded kiosk, MTN Mobile Money float, phones and airtime.

“We could think of no better way to celebrate this accomplishment of having 4 million customers than by thanking and awarding those who made it possible, our customers,” said MTN Chief Marketing Officer, Yvonne Manzi Makolo.

Uwimbabazi expressed excitement.

“I am overjoyed and very thankful to MTN for giving me a chance to finally own a business. This shop will not only sustain my family and me, but it will also enable my community to stay connected at all times,” said Uwimbabazi.

MTN recently announced the milestone of reaching 4 millions customers in the East African country where it is the market leader.

“Putting the customer at the core of everything we do has enabled us to reach this milestone. We will continue to work to enhance the lives of over 4 million of our customers in Rwanda by focusing on our mission and  vision, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs,” Makolo added.
