JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – SKYWISE Airlines has introduced a monthly subscription fee for clients who frequently use the Johannesburg-Cape Town route.

Set at R7 999, the offer enables frequent travellers unlimited flights between the two cities.

The all-inclusive fare, which is part of the privately owned low-cost airline’s strategy that seeks to offer consumers a premium service, is said to be a first in the market in the continent’s most advanced economy.

Co-Chief Executive Officer of Skywise, Irfan Pardesi, said the package was ideal for corporate executives, government officials and businesspeople who travelled between Johannesburg and Cape Town at least two to three times a month.

“It also affords business people a time for personal relaxation over the weekends or during their out-of-office hours. There are no limits to the number of times you can fly. One can effectively compare this deal to joining a country club where, instead of having access to the golf course, you have unlimited access to our planes,” said Pardesi.

The low-cost Skywise was launched in February.

It operates three Boeing 737 planes, undertaking eight daily on the Johannesburg-Cape Town route.

Joint-Chairpersons of the company, Tabassum Qadir and J. Malik, said Skywise Airline’s ultimate aim is to connect people through a unique flying experience while becoming South Africa’s most-appreciated airline.

” In terms of this unique offer, we are confident that unlimited flying enables travellers to challenge their own limitations every day, they said. ”
