LAGOS, (CAJ News) – It appears the battle to avoid relegation will go to
the wire with teams precariously placed in the Nigerian Glo Premiership showing vast improvement.

Among these teams to do their survival prospects a lot of good are Ifeanyi ubah and 3SC.

The duo has struck some rich vein of form as the league campaign draws to an end.

On Wednesday, Ifeanyiubah beat Akwa United 2 – 0 to jump two places up the Premiership log standings to occupy tenth with 35 points from 25 games while 3SC edged Nasarawa United 2 – 1 to move to 11 with the same number of points.

Sharks are still flirting with relegation following their goalless draw
with Lobi Stars.

Giwa meanwhile moved up to sixth with a narrow victory over Rangers.

The tie finished 1-0 in favour of the hosts.

Only four matches were played on Wednesday.

There is a full set of fixtures on Sunday.
