LAGOS, (CAJ News) – THE GLO Premier league will be in full swing this
weekend with a battle between the league leaders and the bottom-placed side the highlight of the round of matches.

The spotlight will be at the Enyimba International Stadium where leaders Enyimba host relegation-haunted Taraba in a match the hosts are tipped to win easily, bar an upset, and maintain their leadership of the log.

Enyimba are top with 45 points, two ahead of closest rivals Sunshine Stars.

At the wrong end of the table, Taraba are stuck at the bottom with 20 points from 24 games.

Stars will be hoping to beat struggling El-Kanemi Warriors in order to keep up with the leaders.

Elsewhere across the country, third placed Warri Wolves host fourth placed Wikki Tourists in a match expected to go either way.

Warri and Wikki share the same number of points – both have 41 points from 24 games points only separated by goal difference.

Their tussle for three crucial points will be exciting as they have a mathematical chance to win the league title if they keep winning their remaining matches.

Fifth placed-Kano Pillars entertain ninth-positioned Nasarawa United while sixth-placed Abia Warriors host seventh-positioned Heartland. Giwa FC battles it out with Akwa United while Ifeanyiubah FC travel to Lobi Stars.

3SC host Kwara United.

In another battle of the relegation-threatened sides, Sharks date Bayelsa United. Rangers and Dolphins, who are not safe either complete the Sunday fixtures.

All matches kick off at 17:00.
