Enyimba back atop the Nigeria GLO Premiership

LAGOS, (CAJ News) – SUNSHINE Stars have handed the leadership of the Nigeria’s GLO Premier League back to Enyimba following defeat at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Dolphins beat the league hopefuls 1-0 in an encounter played on Wednesday.

Jonathan Zikiye gave the Dolphins the victory with his solitary strike from a free kick in the 55th minute.

Six-time champions Enyimba have made the most of the rival’s defeat to claw their way back to the summit.

The former African champions secured a slender 1-0 victory over Kano Pillars.

Sunshine Stars are now second on the table with 43 points from 24 games while the new log leaders have 45 points from the same number of games.
