Bathabile Dlamini, new ANC Women League president

PRETORIA, (CAJ News) – THE African National Congress Women’s League (ANCWL) has elected a new leadership team to steer the organisation.

Social Development Minister, Bathabile Dlamini, has been elected President, succeeding Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga.

Sisi Ntombela is the new Deputy President.

Meokgo Matuba has assumed a role as Secretary General, deputised by Weziwe Tikana.

Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Maite Nkoane-Mashabane, is the new Treasurer-General.

The elections were held at the ANC Women’s League 12th National Conference.
