Kruger appointed MTN Business GM

JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – MTN Business South Africa has appointed industry veteran, Mariana Kruger, as General Manager of the Private Sector.

The appointment comes on the backdrop of MTN Business’ ambitions of aggressively growing its market share in the enterprise space and venturing into new markets.

Alpheus Mangale, Chief Enterprise Officer: MTN Business SA, says Kruger expertise will complement the existing skills set at MTN Business.

“Kruger expertise will bode well for MTN Business SA. Her crucial skills and experience will provide the building blocks upon which we can built on as we pursue our strategic objectives of making inroads in unchartered markets,” says Mangale.

Kruger has previous experience at IBM, Systems Management Consulting, Project Management and Business Unit Leadership. Kruger worked with clients in Africa and the Middle East, taking responsibility for signings, revenue and profit for the region including growth initiatives for data centres and Work Area Recovery.

The appointment of Kruger follows a string of high level appointments by MTN Business earlier this year.

The enterprise unit appointed Mandisa Ntloko as the Head of Marketing, Claude Chetty as General Manager for the SME segment, David Mphelo as General Manager for Public Sector and Delwin Bratby as the new General Manager for Client Services.

“We have a solid strategy in place of being the Information Communications and Technology partner of choice for geographic and market expansion and we believe that these appointments will propel us closer to achieving our strategic objectives,” says Mangale.
