Eskom rules out load shedding

JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE possibility of load shedding is minimal on Wednesday after Eskom reported the power system was currently stable.

This would enable the power firm perform maintenance across the country, we urge electricity users to consider energy efficient ways of keeping warm,” Eskom advised.

In winter the electricity demand peaks in the morning and evening as more electricity is used during peak periods.

“We appeal to all our customers to continue to reduce their electricity usage throughout the day but to be aware of the need to save more during the peak periods,” Eskom appealed.

The periods are from 6am and 10am and 5pm and 9pm.
