BREAKING: Birthday bash planned for TB Joshua in South Africa
from OKORO CHINEDU in Lagos, Nigeria
LAGOS, (CAJ News) – ALMOST a year after the death of more than 80 South
Africans at his church in Lagos, a birthday celebration is being held in the Southern African country for the prominent but controversial church leader, Temitope Balogun (TB) Joshua.
A statement posted on his social network site disclosed the party is scheduled for Friday under the theme, “A celebration of Love.”
Entrance is only by invitation.
The venue could not be ascertained.
“We are excited to announce that on Friday 12th June 2015, the Relations of the Martyrs of Faith Survivors and The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Family of Southern Africa will be hosting a special birthday celebration in SOUTH AFRICA on the occasion of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s birthday!” read a statement.
It has been confirmed United States Gospel artist, Vashawn Mitchell, and “other prominent artists” will be present to entertain the guests.
TB Joshua will be turning 52 on Friday.
The churchman divides opinion.
He incurred the wrath of South African families when 84 locals died after his building in Lagos collapsed on them last year.
