Airtel Ghana expands network to counter floods

ACCRA, (CAJ News) – AIRTEL, Ghana’s third largest mobile network operator, said it was expanding and upgrading its network service in order to give customers best communication amid recent flooding impacting on quality.

Airtel Ghana Managing Director, Lucy Quist, confirmed the plans following inclement weather that swept across the nation living thousands of people affected

Quist said Airtel would continue investing in network upgrading with a view to ensure reliable network and communication services to its customers.

“Our mission is underscored by the conviction that communities guide their own successful transformation,” Quist said.

Airtel directly competes with MTN, Vodafone, Glo, Tigo and Expresso in the highly-competitive sector.
