Obama confirms full delegation for Nigeria inauguration

LAGOS, (CAJ News) – UNITED States President Barack Obama has announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to Nigeria to attend the inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari.

As previously announced, John Kerry, Secretary of State, will lead the delegation.

Other members, who include a sporting legend, have been confirmed late Thursday ahead of the inauguration on Friday.

These include James Entwistle, US Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs and General David Rodriguez, Commander of the US Africa Command (USAFRICOM).

Others are Grant Harris, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for African Affairs, National Security Council, and Hakeem Olajuwon, National Basketball Association legend and Olympic Gold Medalist.
