LAGOS, (CAJ News) – UNITED States Secretary of State, John Kerry, will
lead a delegation from his country to the inauguration of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, later this month.

“The Honorable John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of State, will lead the
delegation. Other members of the delegation will be announced at a future date,” read a US Department of State statement made available to CAJ News on Tuesday.

US President, Barack Obama, announced the delegation.

The inauguration of the All Progressives Congress leader is scheduled for May 29 in Abuja.

This follows Buhari’s victory over incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan of the
People’s Democratic Party in the polls held at the end of March.
