JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – FOLLOWING the confirmation of the semifinalists for the Nedbank Cup, league action returns on Tuesday with University of Pretoria hosting Kaizer Chiefs at Tuks Stadium.

The match is set to kick-off at 1930 hours, the same time as another encounter pitting Bidvest Wits again Orlando Pirates at Bidvest Stadium in Braamfontein.

The two matches promise thriller as both Soweto giants are eyeing the Premiership title while defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns host Bloemfontein Celtic at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.

Any slip up for Chiefs against Tuks would present Sundowns with a chance to close the gap on top of the log. Defending champions Sundowns are seven points off Chiefs.

Elsewhere, relegation bound AmaZulu host Polokwane City at Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on Wednesday while Platinum Stars entertain SuperSport United at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg with Black Aces hosting Maritzburg United at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

On Friday, Chippa United will play against Moroka Swallows engage in a battle to avoid relegation at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

Ajax Cape Town entertain University of Pretoria at Cape Town Stadium.

All matches kick-off at 19:30.
