HTC flagship phone launched in SA

JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – HTC has launched its eagerly-anticipated One M9 smartphone in the continent.
The gadget, which is the latest in HTC’s flagship product line, has been launched in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Speaking at the event, Neeraj Seth, Head of HTC Marketing in Middle East and Africa (MEA), said the smartphone will be available for retail in June.
“Pre-booking will be around May,” said Seth, who added there had been a positive response to the smartphone since it was announced recently AT Mobile World Congress.
“There are a lot of consumers eager to lay their hands on the HTC One M9.”
The One M9 boasts a 20MP duo camera. The secondary camera is 4 MP, said to be the largest such camera in the smartphone market.
Measuring 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6 mm (5.69 x 2.74 x 0.38 in) it weighs 157 g (5.54 oz).
The smartphone runs Google’s latest operating system, Android OS, v5.0.x (Lollipop).
