Zimbabwe ICT firm gets top certification

HARARE, (CAJ News) – IWayAfrica Zimbabwe has been awarded its Cisco Select Certified Partner status after demonstrating the technical ability and product knowledge necessary to sell, install and support Cisco solutions.

In addition, iWayAfrica Zimbabwe has also met the requirements for small and midsized business specialisation.

Nhena Nyagura, Managing Director, iWayAfrica Zimbabwe said this was a sough-after certification for the company.

“We are pleased to have achieved Cisco Select Certified Partner status. It has strengthened iWayAfrica’s credibility as a Cisco partner and specialist and will assist in growing the business,” he said.

As a Select Certified Partner, iWayAfrica Zimbabwe will receive numerous program benefits including participation in Cisco VIP Express, Cisco Opportunity Investment Program (OIP), access to Cisco Partner Education Connection (PEC) and customer financing programs offered through Cisco Capital.

The evolution of the Cisco Small and Midsize Business (SMB) Specialisation, achieved by iWayAfrica Zimbabwe, represents a combination of the former Small Business (SB) and Small Business Foundation (SBF) Specialisations.

“This requirement mirrors the architectural strategy of Cisco advanced-level specialisations, positioning SMB partners to sell strategically across all technologies,” said Nyagura.

IWayAfrica is a leading African internet Service Provider (ISP), bringing wireless service to over 67 000 business subscribers and more than 20 000 consumer subscribers across Sub-Saharan Africa.
