LAGOS, (CAJ News) – NIGERIA security personnel in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have undergone specialised training to ensure their readiness for the upcoming general elections.

Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, Wilson Inalegwu, said such relationships among security agencies in the FCT including military, Department of State Security and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps was in line goals to achieve the objective of zero criminality.

“To ensure the conduct of peaceful, free and fair elections within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the police command has organised a specialised training for its officers and men. And in the spirit of inter-agency collaboration, other security agencies were also involved in the training,” Inalegwu said.

Elections are scheduled for the end of the month and mid-April.
