Arik resumes flights to Benin, Cameroon

ABUJA – ARIK Air, the national airline, has announced the resumption of flight services to Benin and Cameroon.

The airline will fly to the cities of Cotonou and Doula respectively from next Monday.

According to the airline, flight services were suspended last year in the wake of the outbreak of Ebola Virus in some parts of West Africa.

“We are pleased to return to Cotonou and Douala after the brief period of suspension of flights.

“We thank our guests for their loyalty and promise that we shall not renege on our pledge to provide world-class experiences and services which are safe, reliable and continually contribute towards the quality of life in the region,” the airline’s Managing Director Chris Ndulue said.

He said the airline will operate four flights weekly from Lagos to Cotonou and Douala on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The flight is expected to depart Lagos at 11:15 am (local time) and arrives in Cotonou at 11:45 am (local time), it leaves Cotonou later at 12:30 pm (local time) to arrive in Douala at 2:00 pm (local time).

From Douala, the inbound flight departs at 2:45 pm (local time) and arrives in Cotonou at 4:15 pm. The flight t leaves Cotonou at 5:00 pm and arrives in Lagos at 5:30 pm.
